Student assistant for research support tasks at SHAPE

SHAPE is looking for a student assistant for research support tasks for a minimum of 8 hours per week in the period 15.02.2025-15.08.2025.

SHAPE is a research centre dedicated to promoting democracy and citizenship in a world of data and algorithms. The centre will conduct research while also making a significant effort to disseminate findings so that the research can benefit citizens, companies, organisations, and decision-makers.

We are looking for a student assistant to help with research support tasks in collaboration with the centre's researchers.

Your work tasks

Your primary responsibilities will include supporting researchers' projects, such as History of the civil registration number and The Digital Citizen in Social Work. Tasks will involve, among other things:

  • Transcription of interviews
  • Organising workshops
  • Conducting interviews
  • Archiving and managing research data

Your competences

We expect you to be studying a relevant programme, such as anthropology, information science, digital design, cognitive science, or a similar field, at either the bachelor’s or master’s level. In addition, you should:

  • Have strong writing skills and communicate in a recipient-oriented manner
  • Be meticulous and take pride in completing tasks with high quality
  • Be able to work independently and take initiative
  • Have an interest in and understanding of digitalisation, democracy, and citizenship.

The working language is both Danish and English. Working hours may vary, but will generally be around 8 hours per week, spread over one or two days, organised according to your studies.
