How do different search tools present information? What biases might they reflect, and how can users critically engage with these results?
Join us for the workshop "Re:search - Comparing, Critiquing, and Contemplating Search Results," where we will introduce and launch a custom platform: https://re-search.site.
This platform is designed to search knowledge infrastructures and will help participants visualize, compare, and interpret their search results from diverse search engines, browsers and chatbots. It aims to promote data and search literacy as well as assist in archiving web content.
We look forward to seeing you on November 30th for an informative afternoon that delves into understanding search engines and the web!
Practical information: Bring your computer as well as keywords and prompts. There is only space for 24 participants, so registration is required.
